kwento ni neth tungkol sa board...

Tinanong ko si neth kung pwede kong ikwento sa bored review yung kanyang comedy na board experience. Here's her reply:

Hay nako, pwedeng pwede mo ikwento ang karanasan ko...hahaha. Parang walang umulit. Hehe. kaya lesson for anyone who is taking the board - magbasa kayo ng bulletin boards for announcement ha (hehehe). Alam mo naman ako laging OUT - I think I didnt go to PRC that
time eh to look where I will take my exam - pinatingin ko lang. So as usual clueless ako that you were supposed to wear a white shirt on the days of the exam. Thank God, nakapasa na ako and I dont have to go through it again - hehehe - kakaharass talaga yun.

First day - I came an hour or an hour and a half early wearing a navy blue shirt (NAVY BLUE PA HA! How dark can I get) and feeling ko pa ang aga ko sa Adamson - I had my breakfast, my sandwiches, my index cards and everthing. Sos! When I saw everyone in white, I had to
retreat and run down the street (at malayo sya BTW) to find a store selling a white shirt (buti na lang they have that typical pang-CAT shirt). Since it's a small store lang, I had to change at the backroom aka storage room with no mirrors (hahaha) but I called my sister to bring na rin a shirt for me since she lives in Makati and because I felt uncomfortable with the white shirt I bought.

I was sitting by the guard house waiting for her and looking at my watch since 20 minutes na lang time na. When she came, I went inside the car and she told me "Kaya pala uncomfortable ka kasi baliktad" - hahaha. The tag was in front - ay sos kaya pala hindi ako makahinga! Hehe. I changed inside the car and sprinted my way inside to look for my classroom. I came super
pawis just to find out na I didn't bring my brown envelope and plastic envelope with me - I thought you just use that when you are applying in PRC to keep all the requirements - not actually bring it during the exam since it says you should bring the blue paper (so yun lang ang dala ko - Nyak!) The proctor was asking the class pa if it was annouced that we should bring
it - and this KSP girl raised pa her hands to say Yes inaannouce - Grr! Hehe. Sobra na akong harassed - I had to rush back out to the store (which of course expert na ako where sya) to buy. To top it all off, nung start na ng exam, my pencil broke. Hay nako, buti na lang may dala akong extra. Hehe. The proctor asked me pa where ako from and I said UP - sabi ba naman yung pamangkin nya one take lang (ipressure pa ba naman ako!) Hay! Anyway, so when the proctor cued us that we can start the exam already, I spent 5 minutes doing nothing but calming myself with a fan before I could actually start reading the first question.

Sheesh! unforgetable talaga sa akin yang boards na yan. hehehe.

Lessons to be learned:

• read the bulletin boards for ANY announcements
• bring EVERYTHING you think you will possibly need
• bring water!
• bring food!!! (I brought rice 2nd day and it was so worth it!)
• bring lots of extra no.2 Mongol pencils (sharpened na ha!)
• bring long brown envelope and long plastic envelope! (can I stress that enough!) - which of course hindi naman talaga kailangan because they will give it back to you at the end of the day rin - they just use it to keep your valuables. pwede rin naman bag diba since nasa front naman lahat. Sos! Anyway, basta dalahin nyo pa rin.
• come early because you'll never know if you come across bloopers like mine (at least may time pa kayo to run - hehe)
• the most important tip - PRAY!!!! He will guide you always.

Good luck you guys!!! Kaya nyo yan! Study hard, pray and exercise (I am telling you, its so hard to lose that extra 10 lbs you gain during your review! See yah!
